Pay Online

So, you've recieved a bill/statement and have a balance due that you'd like to pay? 


You have several options:

  • If you are a current/active client or a client seen since 8/2020 - please log-in to the portal and pay via the portal
  • If you are a client who was seen prior to 08/2020 and/or do not have an active portal account please pay here online and call 772-426-9955 to let me know you have paid in Square so that I may credit your account (I want to make sure I know you have paid as I have to manually update your account!).
  • You may mail me a check (this is a preferred payment method if you do not have an active portal account).Checks can  be mailed after or between sessions and made out to: Elisa Horton, LMFT, LMHC, NCC, Inc.

Please know that payments are due at the time of session.  Most people find that taking care of their bill in the portal (e.g. copay, coinsurance, payment) in the beginning of session is most efficient.  This helps to reduce pesky mailed statements/bills and other unpleasantries for both of us.  :) 


If you can pay with cash or check in sessions - I'd appreciate that very much.  :)   


Please note: I am a small business - there is no cost to me for accepting cash or check. I understand that some people have health spending accounts or need to pay with a card which is why I accept them (I am charged a service fee).


Charges on your statement/bill/invoice represent: co-payments, co-insurances, payments towards deductibles, no show or late cancellation fees, additional time billed for outside of session charges, copy charges, court appearance charges, non-insurance covered charges, and/or cash payment rates for services rendered.  If you should have questions about these charges, please feel free to consult with me after looking at your statement on the client portal, consulting with your health insurance carrier or your EOB, and/or consulting the Informed Consent for Treatment form that you signed upon intake (available here).  If you feel you have been billed in error after consulting these sources, please contact me at (772) 426-9955 or via the client portal with your questions.
